“Suspended Animation” reflects on the didactic possibilities of the materials and structures of everyday architecture by reconsidering them as functional elements in a kindergarten. By elevating and suspending a conventional bow truss structure, the project produces a flexible space below and a fun catwalk space above. Conventional walls are substituted by permeable, and movable systems. The result is an engaging space akin to a construction site or a complex machine.
